vacuum cleaner robot

I am looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner. After an unsuccessful search for information on this topic on Google using search terms like "automatic vacuum cleaners" "automatic vacuum cleaner reviews" etc., I am now turning to you.

I am willing to spend money on such a device, but I also want something affordable. Actually, I would like to make a comparison among devices that have made it into the top 5 in a recent review from, for example, [Kassensturz] or something similar.

What do you mean by automatic vacuum cleaner? I assume those robots that you put on the floor and then they vacuum by themselves? ;-)

Short and sweet: forget it ;-) There are such devices, I think starting at 1,500 EUR upwards. But they work extremely poorly and a large part of the dirt just remains. Also, the battery life is very short, so they have to recharge after almost every room. So I wouldn't get something like that ;-)

For 1,500 EUR you can also have a cleaning lady come once a week for a few years ;-)

The so-called robot vacuum cleaners can be obtained much cheaper. They don't cost 1500.- But I also don't know if these things last as long as they promise.
