Utility room vs shower in the attic bathroom - design connections flexibly?

Hello everyone,

we have booked the "preparation shower bath" in our attic, i.e. connections for toilet, shower, and washbasin will be placed at the locations marked on the plan, but nothing will be installed or tiled.

So far, we had planned a master bathroom with a shower there, which we wanted to implement in the following years when time and money allowed. However, it has now turned out that our house connection room, which was also intended as a utility room, offers extremely little space. Therefore, the idea has come up to use the bathroom in the attic as a utility room, since there is already direct access to the dressing room there and laundry also occurs or has to be stored there.

According to my idea, I would leave out the planned shower and install the washbasin in its place so that there is space on the opposite side for the washing machine and dryer. From the sanitary installations side, this should not be a problem, except that I would not need a hot water connection then. However, electrical installations would need to be added, which (due to the re-planning and the necessary separate circuit protection for washing machine and dryer) would cost around 1,000 euros. We therefore want to be sure that this is a good idea or even feasible and hope for feedback from the forum.

Because: the space between the toilet and washing machine/dryer would be quite tight. Hence the actual question to the sanitary subforum: Can I move the toilet there? Ideally, can I place the toilet where the current shower is and then place the washbasin opposite the washing machine? As far as I understand, the toilet drain would have to be rerouted and the (hot) water connection from the shower/washbasin would need to be extended over. Is that possible over that distance?

Thank you for any opinions! (Also generally regarding the idea of placing the utility room in the attic).

Stack the devices on top of each other. Then you will have more space.

mhja.. that doesn't match my wife's idea^^ the devices should stand next to each other, with a countertop above.
