Use cold floor as storage space?

Hello,

we would like to optimize our 2017 single-family house a bit and use the attic as storage space for half of it.

Our roof beams are 10cm wide and have distances of 50 - 60cm.
So for counter battens, I thought of 60 x 35 x 200cm at intervals of 45cm.
For the boards, I wanted to use OSB boards with a thickness of 22mm without tongue and groove and always leave a gap of 1 - 2 cm to the next one, so that no mold can form.


Is that okay so far or is there something to optimize?

Why counter battens? Just nail tongue and groove boards tightly together onto the beams, then you have an even floor that doesn't even breathe. That's how our carpenter did it.

We also used tongue and groove boards. However, we have additionally doubled our roof beams a bit to gain some distance from the insulation...

Although I have a vapor barrier, I thought that if there is still air between the OSB boards and the insulation, I am playing it safe regarding mold.

Therefore tongue and groove instead of OSB

Is there currently no coating on the beams at all, meaning the story is open right up to under the ridge?
