Untreated wooden windows - Are there such windows?

can someone tell me if there are untreated wooden windows. I seem to remember having heard that before, but I haven't found anything like that now.

Since wooden windows cannot be left untreated, the profiles are usually treated during the production process (e.g., by pressure impregnation). You would therefore probably have to ask a supplier who also manufactures windows specifically for monument protection projects. The only one I know of in this context is Pax AG. If you ask around in the building biologist scene, there are definitely a few little insider tips, but in the mainstream market at least for industrially manufactured windows, wood plays a very small role today.
