Unipor Silvacor - soundproofing? Experiences?

has anyone built with Unipor Silvacor bricks? I would appreciate some feedback. How is the sound insulation?
Does anyone know if the filling contains any additives to keep pests away, or similar?
Do the bricks smell like wood?

Gracious goddess. I consider this product doubly perfect: harmless and nonsensical. This is a growth of bio-marketing, nothing more and nothing less. Since Kyrill, there has been, quite literally, more windbreak wood on the market than can be burned as pellets. It has to go somewhere – why not into hollow brick chambers. It does no harm there, but unfortunately only makes sense for the naive dreams of biodull city dwellers. You could just as well fill your bricks with chocolate sprinkles without any worries, without the slightest risk of getting fat from it. Even if you were to bind the chocolate sprinkles with cream candy mass.

Next, the marketers will recognize a relevant overlap between bio-brick fans and people afraid of electromagnetic radiation. Then they will bring bricks with iron shavings filling to the market. I think, with my laughing fit, I’d better go to the doctor just in case.

How is the soundproofing?

I expect it to be completely unchanged by this filling.

Would you want to know if the fibers are impregnated with formic acid from nettle decoction? - no bark beetle, not even one on LSD, will nibble through the brick.

Do the bricks smell like wood?

No bricklayer will take the time to sniff the cut surfaces of the bricks. The finished wall certainly does not smell.
