hello

we would like to purchase an underlayment floor milling machine. after careful consideration, the two machines "quattro" and the "bs-270 el" have been shortlisted.

the "bs-270 el" (successor to the milling machine "alpha") is about fr. 1000.00 more expensive, but has the advantage that a flap can be removed on the suction ring, which apparently allows milling up to 100% right up to the wall, thereby largely eliminating the tedious edge grinding with the angle grinder?! however, the milling inserts are also more expensive for the "bs-270 el". these are about fr. 100.00/segment more expensive, which results in total additional costs of fr. 400.00 for 4 segments when replacing them.

does anyone have experience with either of these machines regarding functionality, as well as the durability of the milling segments?

thank you for the information!

Hello,

I am continuing this here and I am also looking for an [Unterlagsbodenfräsmaschine]. It would be nice if some members would get in touch.

I am looking forward to exchanging experiences.

Thank you very much.

Hi,

there are already some machines that are good.

Some time ago I arranged a bs-270 el for a company. After feedback from the company, they are satisfied with the machine. However, I cannot make a comparison because they knew exactly which machine they wanted.

Hello everyone I used to have the Omega (bigger brother of the Alpha). But since I occasionally reached the limit with the voltage in old buildings, I bought an Alpha. However, to work efficiently on larger surfaces, I have been looking for something bigger and smarter for a long time. After a long search and selection, I came across the DSW-400. This unit has, in addition to the great accessories, very good features. - stepless speed adjustment (depending on use) - stepless handle adjustment - attachable additional weights up to the max! (I have 4 weights) - good electronics with overload indicator - great suction ring (I can get close to the wall) - large wheels for good transport on rough terrain, cables, stairs... - forced drive for the multi-disc plate (a super sanding plate) I have had this machine for half a year. This thing is brilliant! We often sand for hours and when milling various subfloors we mostly work with all four additional weights. The machine has incredible power and has never failed. I can recommend it with a clear conscience to everyone! Just contact the manufacturer in Thörishaus near Bern. They demonstrate this machine on the construction site so that no one has to buy a pig in a poke.

Thank you very much for the detailed information. But this is more intended for companies than for private individuals. But interesting machine.
