Undercutting 3m distance from garage to street

Hello everyone,
we are planning to build a single-family house in Hessen, according to the Hessian garage regulations the driveway of the garage must be at least 3m long ("[Zwischen Garagen und öffentlichen Verkehrsflächen müssen Zu- und Abfahrten von mindestens 3m Länge vorhanden sein. Ausnahmen können zugelassen werden, wenn wegen der Sicht auf die öffentliche Verkehrsfläche Bedenken nicht bestehen.]").
When is it possible to obtain such an exemption, and how complicated will it be? We are planning an electric garage door, meaning that traffic will not be obstructed at the entrance (apart from that, it is a street in a 30 km/h zone in a purely residential area without through traffic).

With the environment you described and especially the desire for a sectional door, it should be possible in my opinion; it depends heavily on the responsible caseworker. Go to the building planning office, bring your plans and pictures of the property situation along with the 30 km/h zone. There are also people at work in the building planning office and if you treat them as such, many doors often open that remain closed with the wrong approach.
