Hello everyone,

we want to clad our shaft ourselves, which contains the technology and especially the laundry chute. Due to the configuration in the shaft and the limited space, we depend on every centimeter. Does anyone know if I can use the UD and CD drywall profiles (28mm) with single-sided cladding each as shaft cladding? I only read that they are usually used for suspended ceilings. Or is the thinnest the UW and CW profile with 50mm plus cladding?

Regards

So I also clad my knee wall on the upper floor with UD 27/28mm and CD profile. Fix the UD profile properly into the masonry, then it should work. Whether that statically complies with any building regulations, of course I do not know.
