Turn on Omlopp kitchen lighting with light switch

I have the following question:
I want to equip the kitchen with Omlopp lighting, but I do not want to turn it on/off with the Utrusta remote control, rather with the existing light switch.
If I use the included connection cable, connect it to the light circuit and always leave the small switch on the connection cable turned on, should the LEDs then always turn on when the light switch is turned on?
Or does that ONLY work with the remote control?

That works, however, the Omlopps always shine at full strength then. With the remote control, there is an additional dimmed level.

Since I find the remote control itself quite ugly, I have already thoroughly googled but found no alternative to the remote control. I might possibly build something from a nice button and the interior of the remote control.

I am annoyed not only by the design of the remote control but also by the fact that it works with radio and requires batteries. I might dismantle the transformer sometime; possibly I can lead out 2 wires somehow to connect a normal push-button. Regards Section Chief

Hello, have you solved the problem? I am looking for a way to switch the lighting "dimmed" via an external switch, as I do not need the high brightness level. It would be good if this could be changed on the transformer. Or maybe another transformer with a lower output voltage would also work? Regards TM
