Top panel for wall cabinets!

Dear forum, I am not an Ikea expert and am puzzled by the following problem. I bought cover elements (20067589) for wall cabinets with a height of 70 cm. Why on earth are the covers 76 cm high when the cabinet is only 70 cm? Do I have to cut them? Or am I missing something here? I would be very happy about any help! Regards Josch

Hello The cover page is 6 cm higher to possibly mount [Dekor od. Kranzleiste]. If you do not want this, then shorten by about 6 cm and place the cut surface upwards. Regards bergpriv
