Hello everyone,
We have been living in our new building since 01.01.
We have two Villeroy Boch - Omnia Architectura toilets WC ceramic - rimless in the house.
Now we have the following problem: after just a few weeks, there are strong yellow/brown lime stains on the ceramic exactly where the water minimally leaks after flushing.
These stains can be removed very well with acid, but then they turn completely yellow/brown again after 3-5 days.
Unfortunately, it looks very unhygienic. Therefore, we wanted to ask if anyone has a tip on how this could be solved in the long term? Subsequent sealing? Polishing? Complaint?
According to Villeroy & Boch, this is completely normal and depending on the degree of contamination, the deposits must be soaked with acid for 24 hours every 3-4 days.
I think that can’t really be the case?
Attached is a picture.
Best regards
