Hi guys, I bought a house and have a small problem with the toilet flush that is driving me crazy.

I have already been to OBI, Hagebaumarkt, and even to a specialized store. The responsible department there simply could not help me.

The toilet is a concealed installation from around 2002, it is from Grohe and the actuator button is from Grohedal.

In one of the pictures, this red part can be seen, I have probably already found out what it is called "actuation lever". When I press this lever, the flush is activated.

In the other picture, the flush plate, meaning the button you press to trigger the flush, can be seen.

When this flush plate is installed, the flush is not triggered. As can probably already be seen in the picture, this button is not enough to press this actuation lever.

Now I am wondering which part I need to properly reinstall this.

I was always told that the flush plate does not include this, it belongs to the concealed flush unit.
I am supposed to find the "number" for it, but unfortunately, no number is visible and so nobody could really help me so far...

I hope someone on the internet happens to have the same model and can help me.

Best regards
Andreas

I repair my flush-mounted installation myself. As a rule, I look for a suitable repair video on the Internet and watch the explanation there. I buy spare parts on the Internet. For example, I bought a small spring for the actuator plate for little money on the Internet.

Hi

it seems to me that something is missing to trigger the flush and to compensate for different installation depths.

Hello, the functional principle seems to be embossed on the white plastic (behind the red lever).. when I zoom in, I see a drawing there.. maybe that helps? Best regards

Those are the round buttons, right? There used to be some pointless system from Grohe that worked with "air pressure" - the button has to build up pressure somewhere. Could it be that a hose is missing there? Otherwise, there should also be an exploded view available on the web...
