Hello builders,

I would be interested to know if anyone here has a timeline schedule showing which trades were ordered when. I've seen something like that from a general contractor who builds turnkey in an Excel list. For example, week 1-12 shell construction, week 13-xx, etc.

Does anyone have something like that and would share it with me?

Thank you!

Thank you Yvonne!

Are there also personal experiences from you with a construction plan? Has anyone who assigns the trades themselves and contributes their own work also made such a plan?

I don’t understand now. The general contractor makes the plan. Or also the construction manager/architect. Are you awarding the trades yourself?

I think making such a plan as a client without a general contractor can’t be wrong to keep an overview and not forget any trade. Nevertheless, it is to be expected that the plan will not be adhered to when external factors like weather, illness, etc. come into play. By the way, our general contractor did not provide this construction schedule to his clients/owners so that a) they would not be disappointed and b) he would not be pinned down with deadlines.

Yes, I would like to subcontract individual trades myself.

I also had the unplanned delays in mind, of course it would be interesting to know how much this deviated for you?

Best regards

Then ask your contractor when he has scheduled the trades of your EL. Nothing else will help you anyway.
