Hello everyone, we have a question, our house is now in the final phase and we are now working on the interior construction! We have a Cosy-floor slab in the basement and wanted to lay tiles all over it, so we looked around for tiles and a few have come into the final selection, unfortunately one of these tiles is not explicitly marked as "fußbodenheizung geeignet". Now our question is, does this pose a problem? Or can you lay them without worry using flexible adhesive???? We were told that this is not a problem, but elsewhere we were told that this tile might not conduct the heat from the heating??? We urgently need a competent answer!!!!! Many thanks for answers that really help us!!!!! Best regards JJ

Hello Eigenheim!

Maybe my post is written a bit too late, but what works especially well for installing underfloor heating are natural stone tiles. Not only are they a natural product, but due to their multitude of pores, they absorb the heat from the underfloor heating and store it for a longer period. That way you can have warm feet and save on heating costs at the same time. :D I myself also have underfloor heating with natural stone tiles and can't imagine anything else since then!
