Hello,
the painter worked sloppily on the roof overhang. Cracks appeared about a year ago. He came by (GU said dududu), took some kind of adhesive film and then painted over it. Now there are individual cracks again. I know that stress cracks can occur, but these are transverse cracks over the roof overhang, not cracks between the house wall and the roof overhang.
We suspect that the painter did not use a mesh (I think that's what it's called) before he originally painted that absorbs movement, but painted directly onto the plaster.
What can be done here? It will soon be 5 years and we are on our own if cracks appear again.
Can something nest in the roof, or is it just a cosmetic issue?
