Hello everyone,
I came across this forum while browsing the internet and it seems to me that there are a lot of nice and competent people here :)
That’s why I’m going to ask my question here right away,
if there is already a very similar topic, please forgive me for not having found it through the search...
My husband and I have recently been thinking - like many others here - about buying or preferably building a house.
We are just at the very beginning of our considerations and would first like to find out whether, when, and under what conditions such a project is feasible for us.
What is the best way to proceed? Unfortunately, neither of us has any experience in this area.
We initially thought about making an appointment with a bank or - as I have already read here - a financial advisor to clarify what is financially possible at all or what we should better save up for...
Is that the right way? What is better? Bank or financial advisor?
How do you find a good independent financial advisor?
How (non)binding are such talks?
Once you have a rough estimate, how do you quickly and effectively familiarize yourself with the topic of “house building”? When I read here in the forum, I keep coming across terms and topics that are completely new to us
I hope someone can maybe give us one or two tips.
Thank you very much for the help in advance.
