Good evening.
In Hesse, a structural engineer is mandatory.
My house construction company (general contractor) on my property sent me an offer for a structural engineer they work with.
The offer amounts to €1200 and includes:
CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION OF A SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSE FROM A STRUCTURAL-CONSTRUCTIVE POINT OF VIEW ACCORDING TO HBO: §59 AND 73:
INSPECTION OF THE REINFORCED CONCRETE PARTS, APPROVAL OF THE CONCRETING PROCESSES.
What did you pay for this in Hesse? And is it advisable to find someone yourself rather than taking someone recommended by the house construction company (they probably almost always work together)?
