Hello,
we would like to install multilayer floorboards in our new building; currently, we have various sample boards available.
We would like to test the formaldehyde emission ourselves with test strips, as we do not always have manufacturer information and would rather not rely solely on that.
However, we are unsure if this makes sense in this form. The tests I have found measure the concentration in the room air. If I now measure a sample board with the strip in an airtight container (?), the concentration is likely to become very high.
Has anyone of you ever conducted a similar test yourselves or knows providers who can do this neutrally (and inexpensively)?
I would appreciate any tips!
