I ordered a patio roof from steg-platten.de. Our terrace is 4x8m. After 4m it narrows to 3.25m, so there is a corner in the house wall there. The provider was the only one who allowed me different sizes.
One house wall (HW1) is indicated as 4.02 wide, the other (HW2) as 4.11m wide.
Now the roof was delivered. The provider simply planned 4 sections about 1m wide for the roof part in front of HW1 and 5 sections about 80cm wide for the roof part in front of HW2.
Of course that looks completely silly. I don’t want to build it like that. It would be relatively simple to divide the roof in front of HW1 into 5 sections as well.
There was no prior information, neither in the order confirmation, the order itself, nor on the invoice was this recognizable.
Does anyone possibly have experience with what options one has against the provider here?
Of course I wrote all this to support. But they say I could order parts afterward if I want.
Legal expenses insurance is available, the question would be whether there is an approach for that.
