Surface-mounted - flush-mounted

Following question, maybe someone can help me.

We have been offered to buy a shower column quite cheaply for our shower. The shower column has a surface-mounted fitting. However, in our shower a flush-mounted installation box is already installed. Is there a way to install the shower column anyway? Maybe someone knows a trick? Adapter or something?

There is no trick! An installation fitting can be converted into a surface-mounted fitting if you break open the wall!

Unfortunately, knocking down walls is no longer possible, everything is already tiled :(

The iBox offers a wealth of possibilities,
so why such a shower column?

Everything I have seen so far in "cheap" was rubbish.
