Hello everyone,

we are currently in the process of buying a house which is in the shell stage. We are buying it turnkey without floor coverings in the living and sleeping rooms. Now we have received the nice extra charge catalog for additional wishes, well, I probably don't need to say much :(
Unfortunately, there is no price included for a floor-to-ceiling shower, but I suspect they can offer that to us anyway. Now my question is, who has had such a shower installed and what was the extra charge for it?? The shower should be 1m x 120.

Best regards
Natascha

Ours will cost just under €1000, a tiled partition wall would cost around €700. In our case, the entire shower room will be sealed on the floor accordingly. It would be cheaper if only the shower area was sealed ...(but is that really a good idea?!)

cannot be answered in general terms, as many factors play a role...

Barrier-free shower with built-in shower curb and floor drain in the middle or should it be a channel?
Barrier-free shower with super-flat shower tray installed flush with the floor?
A thousand questions would need to be clarified...

In any case, the surface waterproofing in a bathroom with a barrier-free shower is only professionally executed and according to the leaflet "composite waterproofing" of the Fachverband Fliesen und Naturstein if the "entire" floor is waterproofed.
The surface waterproofing is not professional if it is only applied in the area of the shower...

That's how I know it too. Which certainly could raise the surcharge for the shower even more.
Best regards!

Thank you for the answers... I see I was naive about this again  it's about a floor-level shower with a drainage channel.. well, I'm curious what the developer will say.....
