Hi, so far I have only read as an unregistered user, now I have questions about steam showers.
House construction start possibly in a few months with precast concrete.
My wife and I are enthusiastic sauna/steam bath visitors (Therme Erding) and now we also want to have such a thing in the house, but combined with a shower, so an actual wet room. The prefabricated cabins were not convincing and that’s why it will be built ourselves.

Planned was:
[*
- 4 people seated or 2 people lying down
[*]There should also be enough space at the shower so that two people can fit there as well.
[*]Space for the steam shower area: 2.8m x 1.6m (without seat/lying bench, shower, insulation, tiles) could still be enlarged
[LIST]
[*]I estimate about 6-8 m³, with bench and suspended ceiling
I have already read some tips:
[*]Leave 3cm open below the glass door for fresh air and circulation
[*]Make the door low so that the steam can accumulate above the door and does not escape at the first opening.
The questions would be:
[*]Has anyone had experience with a steam shower in a private home in general
[*]e.g. seating surfaces flat or body-shaped seated/lying
[*]I have read and already tried that after a steam bath session one can "neutralize" the steam with cold water (mist or atomizer), does anyone use something like that.
[*]After a few hours of searching on the web I came across a device called TOLO Ultimate Plus 12.0 kW, 12 kW so that I reach my desired temperature faster. Has anyone already gathered experience with it?
Thanks in advance for the upcoming contributions.
