We want a straight stringer staircase. But how long should it be to be comfortable and pleasant to walk on?

A height difference of 150 cm (= height of the rooms on the ground floor) + the height of the ceiling structure must be overcome.

How many degrees of incline do people find comfortable for stairs?

Our planner has allocated 330 cm for the staircase.

What do you think about that?

Right ...

If I haven't miscounted, there are only 14 risers. 18.8/25.4 would only allow for 13.2 cm of ceiling construction, which is already not enough in its rough state. With 16 x 17.5/28, you would get 280 cm floor height including ceiling construction and 420 cm length in the floor plan.

What does the planner specify as the rise measure? - it looks slightly manipulated to me...

Why even create a new thread?

.. can the threads be merged?

My problem is that I don’t fully understand it. What do the numbers mean? Then I could also ask the developer more specifically ... ?

I totally messed up the first one and couldn’t change it ... Sorry!
