Stainless steel look baseboard in IKEA kitchen, films are peeling off

about 2 weeks ago I built the large bases under the kitchen, the ones with this stainless steel look. Now the films are peeling off over large areas, in a wavy manner... I think it always starts from the side where there is a cut edge.

Can the large surfaces also be ironed on firmly like the small strips? I only had to use that once somewhere, otherwise the cut edges are always "hidden" because they are covered by the next strip (there are many 90° corners with islands, etc...)

You would probably have to re-glue it over the entire surface, for example with Ovalit. Complain, it is not for nothing that the Faktum repurchase guarantee is as long as the statutory warranty period.
