The back of the neighboring garage has always been unsightly. However, it is (hopefully) the perfect spot for two new kiwi plants. For that, they need a sturdy trellis, which we built ourselves from old wooden beams and 8 mm rebar. In between, a quick coat of paint… voilà... like new. Of course, we asked the neighbors beforehand.

Before and after:

Our kiwis are in their 6th year. Never bloomed. No bloom, no fruit. They will be removed in autumn! :(

How big are your kiwi plants by now? Do you have a photo? We have these small kiwi berries from „Kiwiri“ and are hoping for a yield.

Could it be that they first needed to be grafted?

Huge. But we prune the awesome shoots. I can't provide photos because we are camping again right now. But they were bought as a girl and boy at Lubera.
