Hello,
I have the following problem: The day before yesterday, while cooking with the family, I idiotically stained my high-quality cutting board with paint. It wasn’t the kids, it was me. How I managed to do that is a mystery to me. In any case, it can no longer be removed. At least I found the identical board again. What I now want to prevent at all costs is that something like this happens to me again. Therefore, my question at this point is whether there is any way to specially care for high-quality cutting boards so that they last longer and, for example, are resistant to certain types of acids, food coloring, etc. I was thinking of a special oil or something similar, but I absolutely can’t find anything about it.
Does anyone of you know about this and maybe know more?
I would like to thank you in advance for your answers and remain with many greetings
