Hello everyone,
I didn't find anything suitable in the search. After the community's report for the entire construction area showed a classification of Z 0 in five drillings, we received the report for our property today and it is classified as Z 1.1 with an elevated chromium value.

The following passage is included in the report regarding the value:

"Bei einer Wiederverwendung des Materials auf örtlichen Standorten mit gleichartiger Geologie und damit ähnlicher Hintergrundbelastung stellt der in der Mischprobe MP 1 festgestellte Chromgehalt somit kein Ausschlusskriterium dar. Eine Verwendung in der Einbauklasse Z 0 sollte vorab mit den Fachbehörden abgestimmt werden."

I couldn't reach anyone this afternoon. Does anyone experienced in the forum have an idea what this specifically means?

So, we will probably have some trouble with our excavated soil at some landfills.
Does anyone have any experience with the additional costs for this soil class, or can these roughly be estimated in % compared to Z 0?
If yes, what were your additional costs?
The property is located in Bavaria (Franconia).
And yes, I am aware that this can vary from region to region and landfill to landfill, but maybe someone still has some helpful experience reports.

Thanks

Z class has nothing to do with landfills. The Z value indicates the classification of recycling. Up to and including Z2, masses can be recycled. The landfill ordinance classifies earth masses from DK 0 to DK 4. It is best to inquire with a landfill or, even better, a recycling facility using the chemical analysis. Prices vary extremely depending on availability, from €15/ton to €60/ton. Since your analysis is Z1.1 and apparently only one value is above Z0, you should have no problems transporting this to a recycling facility. These are usually old quarries or similar sites that are refilled. Alternatively, ask nearby if someone might need earth masses.
