Software for creating houses exterior/interior

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a program that allows me to be creative myself and design my own house individually - inside and outside (... so also the type of house, like Frisian house, city villa, etc...).

So I don't need a professional program at all, but it should allow individuality.
Cost for the start a maximum of 50 euros, preferably less of course. If that is unrealistic, I would of course like to know!

do you know Sweet Home 3D? I use it for our planning, it is free and quite comprehensive. You can load your own or downloaded 3D models of furniture, etc.

Weaknesses:
- It is not possible to draw and display roofs. Gables are possible with some effort.
- Different terrain heights cannot be modeled.
- The operation is overall a bit fiddly – I wouldn’t know how to make it better, but sometimes I really curse [emoji2]

Yes, I have already come across that before. I was looking for something more practical ;) As I said, I’m willing to spend a few euros if it’s something decent. But then you have to be able to achieve the mentioned goals with it. So for me, it’s actually mainly about the external design at first, less about the inside...

Very few programs are about the external design. There is some other tool, but I can't recall the name right now.

Roofs can also be represented in Sweet Home 3D, but it is a bit more complex since it is not really intended by the program. However, various elements for interior and exterior can be downloaded from numerous websites, and with a bit of practice, you can then also design your house from the outside. I have also seen examples on the internet with different terrain heights, but I still don't fully understand that myself. In fact, the representation of the exterior is sometimes only possible with a bit of fiddling, I must admit ;).

Even if the program is not the right one for you @TE, I wanted to mention this briefly here. Unfortunately, I also have no tip for a more suitable program.

I can only agree with my predecessors, we also created everything with Sweet Home 3D. Both exterior, interior, roof slopes, garden design, and furnishing worked very well. The trick is to download and integrate as many extensions of objects (e.g., furniture) as possible.
