Hello,
as the headline already states: what makes sense to install in advance during new construction if there are no short-term smart home plans yet?
Or what should be installed prophylactically to save time on this topic? 2x CAT7 per room, 1x SAT cable + an empty conduit? Or rather KNX cables?
We are in the middle of the construction phase and currently do not have the time capacity to dive deeply into this topic, especially since much of it is also a matter of belief. Therefore, I would like to lay cables accordingly to approach the topic intensively later and avoid being insufficiently wired then. The control palette of temperature, blinds, light, power, etc. is interesting...
It also makes sense to have an empty conduit for the more distant – still unknown – future in order to be able to respond accordingly.
Thanks, regards
