Hello,
for planned dormers, the roof pitch is 12°. The carpenter says that roof tiles with special roofing felt are no problem here because of moisture and dampness. The roofer tends more towards a metal roof and advises against roof tiles. Now I don't know which is the better choice. On the one hand, I would prefer the metal roof as it is probably the least critical. The fact that it is somewhat more expensive than the tile roof would not be a direct problem budget-wise. The only argument against the metal roof is the noise during rain? But I can't really judge that. I don't mind hearing rain/storm in a roof apartment, I even find it good. But if the rain noise is so loud that you can't hear your own words, that would bother me. I just doubt it gets that loud. The roof insulation corresponds to today's standard. Do you have some information for me? Preferably personal experiences.
