Hello everyone!
Before it gets over 30° again here and I collapse: Yesterday we received our presumably now final house drawings.
We do not have a basement, it is the Dannensee development area in Bovenden directly next to Göttingen (Weende Nord).
The most important change in these drawings from my point of view was that we, together with the very good and fast draftswoman, decided to raise the entire house by 50 cm.
In the site plan you can see that, relating to the house viewed from the northwest, there is an incline of 50 cm to the east, 40 cm to the south, and 90 cm to the southeast.
In the southwest and southeast views there is now only one drainage left each, however dashed.
Verbally on the phone, it was said that we could do without the drainages if they (whoever...) were to appropriately shape the terrain around the house.
What are your experiences:
1. Is the height of the house sufficient so that we will not eventually stand underwater?
Following the maximum ridge height, it could go up a maximum of another 100 cm...
2. How does the terrain – presumably on the southwest side – need to be "modeled" so that we can dispense with drainage?
3. What will we have to pile up here on the clay subsoil (after about 45 cm of topsoil & silt) and what costs can we *approximately* expect for this including compaction?
Thanks to you in advance!
Best regards,
Christian
