Hello

Just wanted to ask how to properly seal the shower wall now.
I have installed a frameless shower tray at 15 cm height towards the wall, the entrance is open and tiled.

The shower glass is now silicone sealed horizontally on the glass inside and outside, and vertically on the profile inside. In other words, the small horizontal part of the profile is not sealed. See pictures.

Now, after showering, I noticed that water probably runs into the profile but can also drain again. There is a small water film at the seam from the profile to the tray.

I was told that one should still leave this open at the bottom because if you close it, water cannot drain. I just don't want water to somehow sneak from the profile into the wall or anywhere else.

Is the sealing like this correct, can someone answer me?

Thanks in advance.

Regards
