Hi professionals. We have an 80x80 shower in the corner of the guest bathroom and still need to install a shower enclosure. However, we are not sure what to choose.

Option 1: Folding doors that open completely
Option 2: Only a corner opening (hinged or sliding door)
Option 3: An enclosure that swings outward

What experiences have you had? We would appreciate any tips.
Best regards

Sliding doors are annoying. Hard to clean, break easily. Folding doors are often not sealed properly. In a small bathroom, I would choose double-opening hinged doors on both sides, or if it is a bit larger and bright, a fixed side and one that opens.

Outward-opening doors take a lot of trip water outside. That is not a problem if you do not have to stand in the same spot afterwards to dry off.

We have swing doors that open both inward and outward. You can easily get in and out, but you can also turn them inward to dry. Then they are not in the way either. With little space, that would be my preferred solution. So exactly what Tolentino has already suggested.

We have a non-cheap shower curtain, reasons are, - no shower door cleaning - when open, nothing in the way, the room appears larger - significantly cheaper - ideal place for a foldable tower clothes dryer

I would like to see the floor plan of the bathroom before I say anything.
