Shorten Ikea Maximera drawers to 30 cm?

I bought a used Faktum kitchen and am now buying a 30 cm wide base cabinet to go with it. Unfortunately, the full-extension drawers are no longer available in this width (out of stock in the after-sales service for 2 months). Now I was able to win one on eb** (yay), but I would also like to have three. Now my question: Is it possible to shorten the 40 cm wide full-extension drawers (Maximera or the old Rationell ones) to 30 cm? Small note: We can rely on a carpenter and don’t lack "machines."

Hello, this can be done by cutting out 10.2 cm from the back panel and then riveting the rest back together with a sheet metal.
