I recently saw something cool there. I ordered myself. But only a clothes rail for wall mounting. The company is called dpsshop and has an online shop. There you can find some items under Regalsysteme. I took the 25mm pipe system. It makes a really solid impression.

I have had rather bad experiences with hardware store ranges, so I ordered something to try from "Order in the House".

Of course, it always depends on what you want and what you use it for. For a garage, I WOULDN'T make big investments – but I have always been rather practical anyway (my wife can take care of making it pretty).

I WOULDN'T completely rule out the heavy-duty plug-in shelves. Such shelves also come with wooden boards, which make less noise and offer a lot of storage space (you know that yourself). Two shelves of 2 m each and between them one (or two) 1-meter rods mounted for the hangers. Underneath, a metal shoe rack that can be adjusted to individual width. And that’s that.
The only point that doesn’t really fit: it stands on the floor. For ME, however, this would be the least problem.
But if your car is so long that it no longer fits in the garage with a 40 cm deep shelf standing, then I can understand your problem.

Custom shelves can also be found at tylko. As far as I can see, everything there is configurable. I came across the company because of a segment on Galileo. Row size, compartment size, everything definable. There is also a smart app for your phone where you can immediately see how the whole thing looks in your garage. Google search: Tylko App I like it!

After I had some shelves in the garage, they were thrown out last week. Unfortunately, everything in the shelves gets dirty over time. If you also work in the garage, of course, it gets dirty much faster than if there is just a car inside.

Solution: metal cabinets!

Lots of space, everything clean, and looks better. Unfortunately, depending on the size, they are not exactly cheap, but as a tip: If these cabinets have transport damage, you can buy them for a fraction of the original price. For example, mine each have a 4cm long scratch in the paint. I don’t care about that in the garage, plus I have to admit that more scratches will probably come over time.
For heavy things like car tires, planks, ... a customized construction is currently being welded to store these items space-efficiently underneath. If interested, I’ll take some pictures.

You will ultimately find it at Ikea or any other furniture store, there is the possibility to do this with wood alone, and you can find quite a bit even in the cheap segment. Although I really like the version with the shelves made of aluminium because they are also easy to clean.
