Shell construction made of Ytong is wet from rain

Yesterday I came across the question of whether it is a good idea to expose a shell made of Ytong currently unprotected to the weather....

Will I even be able to get the house dry within a reasonable time?

That is completely normal.

My house and 10 others in the [Baugebiet] have had heavy downpours for days, nobody cared.

Rule of thumb: (which probably isn’t true anyway, but whatever)

as long as it has gotten wet, it must also be actively dried for that long afterwards.

That’s just the risk of winter shell construction, but if you’re lucky, there will still be cold and dry weeks that are perfect for drying out.
