Hello everyone,

we are currently planning our house and will build a mono-pitch roof house with a 6 degree roof slope. Some options have already been offered to us, but we are very unsure what is optimal.

On the one hand, we are afraid that it could be too loud when it rains, and on the other hand, that it will get too hot in the summer. Some have also advised us against the metal roof because the screws can rust, the metal can warp, etc.? Some say such a roof only lasts 10 years?

We were once offered a trapezoidal sheet metal roof with [Antidröhnausprägung] and a Kalzip roof.

What would you do? Are there points a non-expert can consider to make the right choice?

Thank you very much for your help

We are building with a 5° slope and have decided on a bitumen waterproofing and extensive greening. Other waterproofings have been ruled out, although they are workable for me.
Standing seam - roof pitch
Kalzip and trapezoidal sheet - penetrations difficult, appearance of ridge, eaves and verge not nice.

The planned structure now looks as follows:
GK 12 mm
Installation level insulated 60 mm
OSB 18 mm
Rafters insulated 300 mm
Wood fiber insulation board 60 mm
Air layer 40 mm
Cladding 21 mm
Bitumen waterproofing
