Hello,
we have purchased a plot of land in a new development area that runs from north to south and measures 16x37 meters (north/south 37m). Next to it (to the east) is the street. We naturally wanted to build the house in the northern part of the plot (7 meters from the northern property boundary). Yesterday we had to realize that the water association placed the gullies right at the bottom corner of our plot by the street. They are supposed to be 1-1.5 meters deep. According to our rough estimates, the sewage pipes would have to be over 30 meters long, as the utility room and bathroom are located in the northern part of the house. Strangely, our northern and southern neighbors each have their sewage shafts in the north of their plots.
Our concerns and questions:
- Could we have problems with the sewage connection due to the length (pipe slope 1-2%)? We are building without a basement.
In addition, the street slopes down a few centimeters from south to north... we don’t want to have to raise the house.
- Isn't such a long pipe prone to blockages?
- What is the cost of laying the sewage pipes (wastewater/rainwater) per meter including the necessary ground works?
