Set up a provisional parking spot - How is it best done?

Hello everyone, We have purchased 2 parking spaces in a row. Once all are sold, they will be paved together. Since this may take 2-3 more years, we want to prepare the parking spaces temporarily. What is easiest and cheapest? Gravel or order more [Schott] from Tuefbauer and compact it? What do you recommend? Thanks
