- how can I tell if these are reputable providers?
- can someone recommend one to me?
- are there criteria by which I can identify the "black sheep"?

Based on your answer, a follow-up question arises for me: Is there a list of reputable financial intermediaries?

I am a "burned child" when it comes to financial matters, so it is of great interest to me not to fall for "Bauernfänger"... :(

It is always the people we deal with...

I often receive personal recommendations from my clients (this might sound like self-praise – but it is not meant that way...) and have found that the people recommended to me are usually less suspicious than others with whom there was no prior contact.

Do you have no one in your environment who can give you a recommendation based on good experience?
