Hello everyone,
I am currently choosing a sectional door, and I have noticed at various exhibitions that the running rails or the rollers inside are sometimes not protected against intrusion at all; you can easily reach inside. Especially for those who have (lively) children and think about what a child's finger looks like until the motor finally stops when the finger is in the rail... :(
There is the DIN EN 13241 which provides protection against crushing, cutting, shearing, and trapping.
Are doors where intrusion into the rail is possible actually compliant with the standard?
Does anyone have protection against intrusion? Light barrier on the door? etc..
