Hello everyone,
we recently purchased a house and afterwards discovered that there are quite a few mice in the attic. Possible entry points are the ventilation gaps in the masonry and the gap between the roof overhang and the bricks. We have already fitted one gap with a protective grid (visible on the left in the picture), as the protection installed from the inside was not really effective (a kind of fly screen which might help against insects but not against rodents).
The mice have already become significantly fewer, but they probably still enter through the gap between the masonry and the roof overhang. Do you have any idea how to best seal this gap against rodents, wasps, etc.? Spraying is probably ruled out due to the ventilation, right? We would rather not install a protective grid there as shown on the left, since it would be quite noticeable aesthetically.
Thanks and best regards
Sebastian
