Seal the basement of an old building from the inside?

In our old building (built sometime around 1920, brick walls, clay, and whatever else) about 10 years ago the street-facing exterior was excavated and accordingly renovated with plaster, bitumen coating, dimpled membrane, and so on, or apparently attempted to be renovated. Only apparently not completely or thoroughly enough. (The civil engineer is no longer reachable)

Anyway, now again rainwater was standing in a basement room after an extreme downpour, which pressed in from outside through the wall or under the basement floor.

I’m reluctant to excavate from the outside again, so the question is what to think of the interior waterproofing systems from various renovation companies? Usually these are mostly franchise companies, is something like that an alternative? If yes, apparently only one wall in a basement room along the street is affected?

Since the house will most likely be sold in the next 10-15 years, I would like to have something from a company in the documents that one can later wave around with, instead of having to say I fixed it myself?

I recommend this thread for that. Similar topic – you have to draw the conclusions yourself. (Spoiler: It's best to get used to the idea that you only have limited options).
