Hello everyone,

we have a concrete ceiling above the upper floor and above that an attic, which we would like to use as storage space. We are now looking for a simple and inexpensive way to seal the concrete ceiling, mainly to reduce the dust up there.

What do you recommend?

(Can be done by ourselves, otherwise we will have it done)

Sweep together the loose dust and then applying 1 to 2 times [Tiefengrund] should be sufficient. In a storage room, there isn’t much floor stress to cause the surface to break down or dissolve again. Otherwise, the cheapest PVC flooring available online starts at €2.99/sqm (depending on offers at [Roller], [Poco], and others). Then you naturally have peace of mind and can also clean thoroughly from time to time.

I find a removable floor covering exaggerated, the reference to [Tiefengrund] is already good. That also prevents, to a certain extent, that further dust is stirred up?

Haha. Yes, thanks. The drywall installer will do that the next time he's here.
