Hello everyone
Can someone help me out
I am currently installing a used grey water system for the toilets. For the pressurized water pipes in the basement for supply, I have chosen stainless steel pipes with Viega Sanpress red brass V-profile.
I ordered a pressing tool with the V-profile but somehow even before pressing the alignment/fit is already missing.
In the unpressed state, the pressing jaw is already touching the bead for the sealing ring. According to Viega, “The sealing element is not deformed during pressing.”
Are there special pressing jaws for the Sanpress V-profile or are they all the same and can be used both for fittings for copper or stainless steel?
