Hello everyone,
after struggling with the selection of roof tiles for days without making progress, I registered here and would like to ask those of you who have installed anthracite-colored roof tiles for your assessment.
Here are the most important points briefly:
- a nature-close located 70s house with a large roof overhang
- roof pitch southwest 20°, not visible due to the hillside location
- roof pitch northeast 35°, full view of the roof surface, opposite forest
- currently Frankfurter Pfannen on the roof, color somehow gray-brown, fits well into the natural surroundings
Around the house there is a lot of weathered sandstone and reddish porphyry pavement, so the new tile should have a warm anthracite tone so that the roof does not look like a foreign object and blends into the natural surroundings. Under no circumstances should the tile have a cold gray tone or even a bluish tint.
Our roofer would like to install Nelskamp F12Ü Süd, but I am not happy with the color selection for this model; the old black is too glossy for me, it looks almost metallic on the roof, the matte black is better but also not really warm and seems very sensitive to me, and the anthracite is rather a cold gray.
I prefer the anthracite tone of the Erlus E 58 S or Jacobi J11v.
What can you recommend from your experience?
Thank you all for your help!
