Hello everyone,

could someone possibly recommend a craftsman or general contractor contact abroad based on personal experience, whom I could inquire with? There are plenty of advertisements from craftsmen on the internet. However, I would be grateful if someone of you could help me.

The previous offers from local craftsmen (carpenter + roofer) are unfortunately in price ranges that make implementation impossible. I would like to work with local craftsmen, but now I have to consider alternatives.

I am aware of the circumstances regarding the commissioning of craftsmen from abroad. I am also not looking for TEMU craftsmen.

Why are you then searching abroad and not for foreign craftsmen who are already located domestically? Honestly? For such a job, a completely ridiculous question. I can offer you craftsmen in Australia - a friend of mine works there. But you cannot pay him - just the travel and accommodation alone would exceed your budget.

If your roof needs to be completely replaced (not just covered), there is surely a lot more to do on your house. If I were you, I would ask one of the Polish window installers / tilers or the like. In my experience, they all also have contacts (including in their home country) to other craftsmen, whom they recommend because they do not want to damage their own reputation.

May I ask, in which price range the local offers are moving? 120k? 150k?
