Roof covering / Aluminum Prefa / affordable galvanized steel trapezoidal sheet

I have two offers for the roof covering. The first is with an aluminum standing seam roof, the second with a trapezoidal sheet made of fully galvanized and three-layer painted steel. The difference is about 10,000,- money which we could of course use well for other things during construction. Visually, the matter looks identical (similar to standing seam). I would of course prefer aluminum, since rust is impossible here. The person who offered me the steel trapezoidal sheet said, of course (he wants to sell something), that due to the full galvanization and triple coating, the steel roof would be equally durable. Can I believe that? Are there good arguments to choose the aluminum standing seam roof instead?

Well, unfortunately, not much of a response came... How did you decide? I could imagine that the steel version is somewhat less "dent-prone" during installation and later inspections (chimney sweeps and the like)?

We also need to decide on a roof soon - standard, or something different Can you share any experiences?

Yes, unfortunately, there wasn't much. We decided on Prefa standing seam roof because of aluminum. So far we are satisfied, but whether the roof was worth it, I probably won't be able to tell you for another 30 years.
