Hello everyone,
first of all, I am a complete beginner who just bought his first house and is now renovating it. At a window on the upper floor, the roller shutter strap was hanging by a thin thread, and due to my carelessness, I accidentally tore it completely, and it is now rolled up. The roller shutter itself is of course now down and the room is completely dark.
Now the question: When I look through the hole (picture 1), I see the roller shutter strap wound on a roll, but I have no way to reach it through this hole.
In picture 2, you can see the thing I had to unscrew beforehand to look inside.
What is the easiest / quickest way to repair this? Does a professional need to come? Or can I do it myself? And if so, how do I get to it?
Thanks in advance for your help
Best regards
