Roller shutter control via the computer?!

I would like to control my roller shutters using buttons on the windows, but additionally also control them via my computer. With a nice status display, etc.

why do you want something like that, does it even bring a little bit of benefit? I'm just wondering what it's needed for. You can just use the normal switches and that's fine.

well, I would like to include a small timer so that you can say it goes down daily at 10 pm and then back up at 6 am. Or maybe even a SMS solution, so that it can be controlled via SMS. Of course, that's just for fun, but I think it's good
